Bay View Tennis Academy Policies

Bay View Tennis Academy (“Academy”) is committed to delivering high-quality instruction in a respectful and professional environment. By enrolling in our programs, all students and/or their legal guardians (“Student” or “You”) agree to the following terms and policies. These policies constitute part of the binding agreement between You and the Academy.

Mandatory Liability Waiver Submission

All participants, or their parent/legal guardian if under 18, must read, sign, and submit the Bay View Tennis Academy Liability Waiver, Policies & Emergency Contact Form before attending any lesson, class, or program.

  • Submission of the signed waiver is mandatory and a condition of participation.
  • The waiver must be submitted prior to the first session, either electronically or in person.
  • Participants who do not submit the waiver will be denied access to Academy programs until compliance is met.
  • By enrolling in our program, you acknowledge that no exceptions will be made to this requirement.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted exclusively via text message to the Academy’s official number and must be received at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson start time.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 100% of the lesson fee.
  • A no-show (failure to attend without any prior notice) will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.
  • Verbal cancellations, emails, or other forms of communication will not be accepted. Only time-stamped text messages to the Academy’s designated phone number will be considered valid.
  • The Academy reserves the right to determine the timestamp validity and to strictly enforce this policy.

Late Arrival Policy

All Students are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled sessions. If a Student arrives late:

  • The session will still end at the originally scheduled time, to maintain fairness to other students and to respect the coach’s schedule.
  • The full lesson fee will apply regardless of the actual time attended.
  • No extensions, credits, or refunds will be provided for lost time due to tardiness.

Refund and Package Policy

  • All lesson and class packages must be used in full before a Student may exit or withdraw from the Academy’s program.
  • Any Student who discontinues participation before completing their purchased package will be considered in violation of Academy policy, and the Academy reserves the right to deny any refund or credit for unused sessions.
  • No refunds, rollovers, or transfers will be granted for unused or partially used packages except where required by applicable law.
  • By enrolling, You acknowledge that all package purchases are final, and participation in the program is a commitment to completion.

General Terms

  • These policies apply to all lessons, classes, clinics, and packages offered by the Academy.
  • By enrolling in the program, You acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and understand that they form a legally binding agreement.
  • The Academy reserves the right to amend these policies at any time. Changes will be communicated via text or posted on our website. Continued participation after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  • These policies shall be governed by the laws of the State in which the Academy operates, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted to this page, and the revised version will be effective as of the date it is posted. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
